22. Deborah BLYTH inherited
50 Shillings from her father on 12 May 1764. She inherited use of two of the
best rooms in the house where they currently live on 18 Jul 1867. Deborah was
also to receive land in Great Horkesley her husband had recently bought from
George Biggs so long as she remained single. Should she remarry or die then the
land was to go to her son, Thomas. She was married to Joseph SADLER on 18
Sep 1739 in Langham, Essex. Joseph SADLER signed a
Will on 17 Jan 1767. At the time of writing his will Joseph was living in Great
Horkesley. He died between Feb 1767 and Jul 1767. His Will was proved on 18
Jul 1767. Deborah was the only Executor to attend the reading of her husbands
will. His Will was proved on 5 Aug 1772. Josephs will was proved a second
time, this time by his son, Joseph, one of the other Executors named in the will.
He was a Farmer in Great Horkesley, Essex. Deborah BLYTH and Joseph SADLER
had the following children:

Thomas SADLER inherited land and property in Great Horkesley from his father
on 18 Jul 1767. Thomas was to receive a piece of copyhold land of approximately
20 acres and a 1 acre meadow called Church Meadow. Thomas would also receive
half of the remainder from his fathers estate once all debts and legacies had
been paid.

Joseph SADLER inherited the property he lived in with his parents from
his father on 18 Jul 1767. Joseph was also to receive the 7 acres of land adjoining
the family home together with 3 pieces of land called Church Fields (approx 12
acres), 3 pieces of land and a cottage called ___ (approx 13 acres) and land
called Kings (approx 20 acres). These were all in Great Horkesley. Joseph would
also receive half of the remainder from his fathers estate once all debts and
legacies had been paid.

Susanna SADLER was born after 1746. She inherited £200 from her
father when she reached 21 on 18 Jul 1767. She inherited £100 from her
Great Uncle, Isaac Blyth, on 23 Jun 1768. Susan was to receive this when she
reached 21 years of age.

Elizabeth SADLER was born after 1747. She inherited £200 from her father
when she reached 21 on 18 Jul 1767. She inherited £100 from her Great Uncle,
Isaac Blyth, on 23 Jun 1768. This was to be paid when Elizabeth reached 21 years
of age.

Sarah SADLER was born after 1746. She inherited £200 from her father
when she reached 21 on 18 Jul 1767. She inherited £50 from her Great Uncle,
Isaac Blyth, on 23 Jun 1768. |
